New Skirt Support Patterns! || Crinolines, Crinolettes, and Bustles

I've been working my way through rebuilding my wardrobe, and as I've been going, I've been extracting a lot of patterns from period sources. I haven't been using all of them, but they've been sitting in my harddrive, waiting patiently to be loosed upon the world for other costumers to use.

So, first up, I have a batch of new skirt support patterns! There are six in this first batch, ranging from 1869 to 1884. I plan to make a few of these (and have some of them in progress right now), but some of them I pulled, and decided not to use. Hopefully, they will prove useful for someone else! I'll be posting in the future about the ones I make.

All new patterns will be on the Patterns page found in the main menu, or you can click here to be taken to the page. Happy sewing!

  1. This is amazing! Thank you so much. I would be interested to know how to read a spaghetti pattern. :)

    1. It's not a full-sized image. The easiest way to size it up would to be to draft it out onto some gridded interfacing, which is what I do at home. Otherwise, you could take the image into some photo editing software like PhotoShop and size it up for printing (it would be enormous, but it would work.) The grid is a one-inch grid. :)
